Our family came to celebrate a birthday, the wait was about 15 min. After we were seated there was a bit of a wait before our server came. I can say the server was so attentive and knowledgeable, and told us about the changes to the menu. The appetizers we chose were the crab cakes and gator bites, and they did not disappoint. The crab cakes were 98% crab and the biggest I’ve ever seen. They weren’t just big and full of meat, but delicious and full of flavor. The gator bites were hot, crispy, tender and full of flavor as well. The entrees ordered were, fried catfish, shrimp, mussels, clams, fries, red beans and rice and pasta primavera. The fish I felt needed a bit more seasoning, however overall everything was hot fresh and delicious. The pasta dish was made to accommodate the vegetarian in our group, and it was amazing. The portions are huge and I felt reasonably priced. Desert was amazing, we ordered key lime pie with whipped cream and sweet potato pecan pie with ice cream. It was truly the cherry on top of a fantastic night. The atmosphere was perfect just so enjoyable. When I visit again I plan on returning to try more from the menu, great job Pappadeaux

I was visiting my cousin for Thanksgiving and one of my close friends recommended that I come to this restaurant while I was there. So we decided to go to lunch the day after Thanksgiving. It was absolutely hustling and bustling. I wish I could have tried everything on the menu, but we decided to split two meals because neither of us had been there. We had the shrimp and grits and the baked sea bass, with a side of garlic bread to sop up the juices. All I can say is, that was one of the greatest meals I've had in a long time. The service was outstanding, but even more so everybody around us were like family. Everyone carried on conversations and wanted to know what something tasted like. It was one of the greatest eating experiences because it felt like you were at home, rather than an individualized, compartmentalized restaurant. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying there's anything wrong with that, but Pappadeaux's anything but that. My mouth absolutely flipped over the incredible flavors that were being put into it. The sea bass was perfect in every way, but the shrimp and grits, that was a twist that I didn't expect. It wasn't like your typical, south carolina or traditional shrimp and grits... it was the perfect combination of unexpected flavors. I literally took pictures of the meal and sent them immediately to my friend, who recommended it, and I said, we have to make a day trip down to atlanta, just to eat and then go back home.
The place is fun and festive. The service was good. The salsa was great. The beer was ice cold. I took the recommendations of the server. I had the fajitas, and did not regret it. It came with shrimp, steak, and chicken. The shrimp is bacon wrapped, and it was good. The chicken was excellent, moist and tender. The star of the show was that steak though. It absolutely crushed! I followed it up with the pecan ice cream desert, it was bland and unexciting. I should have gotten the tres leches.
I never been here. Came on a surprise date with my man and absolutely loved everything about this place. It's very busy and loud so not the typical romantic scene. Our waitress was very pleasant and made sure we kept drinks at our table. The food was soooo good. Overall it was a good surprise date here
I drove 5 hours just to eat this meal. It was the best decision I made in 2025. The vibe was festive. The staff was energetic. Drinks were strong. Food was beyond amazing. Made my NYE deliciously memorable!!
Good vibes. Fast service. Fresh and delicious seafood. Did have to remind to bring us cutlery and refill drinks but overall nice place. 4 stars only because it was expensive. Two people date = $150.
Food was great. Ate of this meal for 2.5 days because the portions are enough to feed 2 people. The shrimp and grits were a little too spicy for me so I got the 3pc catfish filled with red beans and rice. Very good.
Celebrated my birthday here today. They were very accommodating and cautious with my son’s shellfish allergy. If you have a party of 4 or more I recommend making reservations at least a day in advance or be prepared to wait 2 hours or more.
